Our bodies, like all living cells, have a vibration frequency that was ignored for so long its existence was forgotten.
In earliest antiquity, people was believed that each being had its own sound which could cure illness by balancing the its internal vibration.
In Ancient Greece, Aristotle and Plato saw music as “a gift to soothe the soul”. Nowadays, scientists, neurologists, psychiatrists and therapists from various disciplines recognise the clinical benefits of musical therapy.
Many studies demonstrate the responses of our cells, our DNA and our emotions to particular sounds or vibrations. The physicist Régis Dutheil states in his book “L’Homme Superlumineux” that “the only method approaching the medicine of the 21st century is multidimensional music, because it touches the electromagnetic body and our consciousness at the same time”.
Mantras contain high vibrations producing an energy frequency that soothes the mind and connects with the essence of our being.
Solfeggio frequencies, whose origins are lost in time, were included in Gregorian chants, producing curative effects both for those who sang them and for those who listened.
Solfeggio frequencies are measured in hertz and appear encoded in the Bible, but it was not until the 1970s that they were detected by Professor Joseph Puleo. There were originally six of them – ut, re, mi, fa, sol and la – and they were the origin of the modern musical scale, although ut became do, and a seventh note, si (later ti) was added.
- UT, with a frequency of 396 hertz, liberates from fears and guilt
- REwith a frequency of 417 hertz, undoes conflicts and facilitates change
- MIwith a frequency of 528 hertz, transforms and repairs DNA structures
The note mi is used by geneticists and biochemists to repair broken DNA structures.
- FA(639 Hertz) is the frequency of unconditional love.
- SOL (now called SO)(741 Hertz) awakens intuition and contributes to enlightenment.
- LA(852 Hertz) connects with the spiritual nature.
According to later studies, these solfeggio frequencies could be complemented with three further frequencies: a frequency of 174 hertz, another of 285 hertz and a third one of 963 hertz.
This section, For your Soul, not only includes different musical registers and compositions from all times but also, as its name suggests, offers guided meditations to put us in contact with our souls.
